I’m tired of hearing oil companies talk about how green they are while they pump pollution into our neighborhoods and sidestep basic safety rules. Just look at Chevron—the fire at its Richmond, California refinery sent 15,000 people to the hospital, and now they’re under criminal investigation for air quality violations. But Chevron still has the nerve to run ads claiming that they’re protecting the environment and helping communities.
