We are near the end of the election campaign in the U.S. and in a couple weeks people will be casting their ballots. This year I’m voting for my Mother, not for her beauty or for the delicious food that graces her table but because she needs my support.

In this election there is a clear distinction in which candidate will support my mother – earth. Only Barack Obama shares those values and beliefs that wilderness should be protected, and that clean air and water are inherent rights of all citizens. Obama has tried to be consistent with his all-of-the-above approach to energy which has put an emphasis on renewables. In the weeks and months ahead Barack Obama will continue to support and vote for my mother – earth.
